If you want to insert a new image with Composer,
the image URL must end with png/gif/jpg.
In order to use Composer to insert an image with a different URL
i.e. images fom scripts. You have to do it by hand.

it's not a feature its a bug.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Composer
2. click Insert/Image...
3. type URL not ending with png/gif/jpg
4. try to click OK

Actual Results:  OK is not clickable. so nothing.

I agree! I do not want to be deprived of my God-given right to enter an invalid
image url!


And it seems you and I arent the only ones to feel that way. This is a duplicate
of bug 90229
