Steps to reproduce:

Step to reproduce bug
1.Launch firefox 29
2.Enter URL https://mail.google.com in address bar
3.Enter login details.
4.you will see a welcome page or inbox page.
5.Now use Navigation Command "Ctrl+home" and "Ctrl+End".



Actual results:

Page will not navigate at the top and at the end


Expected results:

Page must navigate at the top and at the end

Try a new, empty profile:

Tried to replicate on Firefox Nightly build 31.0a1
Mac OSX 10.9.2
Corresponding keyboard shortcut works as expected (command arrow up; command arrow down)

Even on Chrome 33.0.1750
keyboard shortcuts are unresponsive initially (after logging into Gmail).
Chrome browser's Spacebar keyboard shortcut is not responsive for 10-15 sec and might require clicking on the browser page or clicking on a page element first.
There could be an issue with Gmail loading js files slowly?

I may have made a mistake updating the status to needs-replication. Didn't see that the previous tester was waiting on more info from the reporter.
