User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140326030203 Steps to reproduce: Move some buttons for addons from the main toolbar on the browser into the menu. Restart Firefox. Actual results: Firefox has failed to remember what customizations I made to the toolbar and has defaulted to placing all of the buttons back onto the toolbar. Expected results: Firefox should have remembered the customizations to the toolbar.
Can I please get someone to confirm this ASAP. I'm using the latest Nightly version as of writing this bug report.

Hey David, So I think I need some more information here before we can confirm this. First of all - are you able to reproduce this bug with add-ons disabled? If so, can you please outline, step by step, what you're doing to reproduce the bug, using a clean profile? If you cannot reproduce this with add-ons disabled, can you disable your enabled add-ons one by one until you find the one that's introducing the problem? Thanks, -Mike

Okay, I can't reproduce the bug in safe mode. To be more specific however: whenever I launch Nightly, it automatically initializes the toolbar by adding the buttons for all add-ons.

Alright - I'm starting to suspect an add-on is misbehaving then. Would you mind: a) Supplying your add-ons list, if you're comfortable with that? In about:support, there's a table listing your extensions that you might find useful for copying and pasting. b) Disabling each add-on one by one, and restarting to see which one is producing the problem? Thanks, -Mike

Of course! Here's my addon list. This seems to also be happening with non-plugin buttons too. The "Group your tabs" button has reset position now too.
I've noticed that "Pocket", "Gmail Notifier" and "YouTube Video and Audio Downloader" are forcibly re-adding themselves to the nav-bar. If you disable those add-ons, does the behaviour go away?

I've disabled the add-ons, and they are appear to be re-enabling themselves.

That sounds extremely sketchy. You're disabling them by going to about:addons, and clicking "disable" next to their name in the list? And they're re-enabled when you restart?

I tried to reproduce it again and the behavior has gone away.
