991698 - keyboard is over text field of Messages app

Since yesterday, I noticed that the keyboard is over the text input field of the Message app. On the first focus, app is correctly resized. But switching to another app and coming back, the keyboard covers the input field.

I'm reproducing this at least on Nexus S, with 1.5. Reporting against keyboard, but I'm not sure what app is really faulty.

STR:
 0. Launch Messages, go into a thread
 1. Focus input field, keyboard comes and app is correctly resized
 2. Press home, back to homescreen, launch email
 3. Long press home, switch back to Messages
 4. Focus input field

Expected:
 Keyboard comes, app is resized.

Actual:
 Keyboard comes, app is not resized thus input field and send button are covered by the keyboard.

Issue did reproduce on v1.5. I didn't have to switch apps (bypassing repro steps 2 and 3) to get the issue to repro.

Fun fact: I noticed that, in Message app, if I tap into the input field, then when I tap in the middle of the screen, i.e. slightly above the keyboard, this triggers click handlers of the top of the Message app:
 - on the left, it triggers the screen to call a contact or see it in Contacts app
 - on the right, it triggers the attachements
