Environment:
Build: Firefox for Android 31.0a1 (2014-04-04)
Device: Asus Transformer (Android 4.2.1)

Steps to reproduce:
1.Go to addons.mozilla.org/en-US and search any add-on that adds entries in the menu (e.g. Quit now, Light Theme Switcher);
3.Tap multiple times on "Add to Firefox";
4.Tap on Install every time the "Installing Add-on" box appears.

Expected result: 
A single new item it's displayed in the menu.

Actual result: 
Multiple entries are displayed in the menu.

I couldn't reproduce this at all. Do you have better steps to reproduce? I installed Quit Now and attempted to reinstall again and again and did not see see multiple duplicate menu items.

No need to install Quit Now and attempt to reinstall it again.  
A shorter way to reproduce this bug: 

Make sure Quit Now is not already installed, go to Quit Now page and quickly tap on 'Add to Firefox' for several times. Multiple 'Installing add-on' boxes will be opened, tap 'Install' for each of them.

The add-on is displayed only once in about:addons page. After the browser is restarted, the menu looks good, the add-on appears only once.
