Details

On startup of Seamonkey's browser, the following deprecation warning appears in the error console: === Error: DEPRECATION WARNING: Passing a callback to Livermarks methods is deprecated. Please use the returned promise instead. You may find more details about this deprecation at: https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Mozilla/JavaScript_code_modules/Promise.jsm resource://gre/components/nsLivemarkService.js 404 LS_getLivemark chrome://communicator/content/places/browserPlacesViews.js 675 PVB_containerStateChanged chrome://communicator/content/places/browserPlacesViews.js 75 PlacesViewBase.prototype.result chrome://communicator/content/places/browserPlacesViews.js 49 PlacesViewBase.prototype.place chrome://communicator/content/places/browserPlacesViews.js 13 PlacesViewBase chrome://communicator/content/places/browserPlacesViews.js 857 PlacesToolbar chrome://communicator/content/bookmarks/browser-places.js 847 PTH_init chrome://navigator/content/navigator.js 660 Startup chrome://navigator/content/navigator.xul 1 onload null 0 null Source File: resource://gre/modules/Deprecated.jsm Line: 79 === Similar additional deprecation warnings appear when the sidebar is opened. I guess the "returned promise" should be used instead.

Philip, I'm not sure this issue is a duplicate, and this problem persists from the last version of seamonkey I use a target form to a window.open name, this issue does not appear on Firefox though

it seems that this error is related when a window.open() javascript is done with arguments that customize the window like window.open('url','name','params=a,params=b'); if I remove all the params the error does not show.
