Details

It's not clear how straightforward or possible this will be (given that our sqlite layer doesn't always report corruption, and furthermore corruption is not always possible to detect), but we should try our best. Or rewrite the backend to be not-sqlite before worrying about this bug :)
This will be made obsolete by the rewrite going on over in bug 1009122
