Earlier in the cycle, we said that we felt it was important to get at least a few key DOM unit tests in for the views as part of MLP.  I think that's probably still true, but I'm open to persuasion.  

Mark and Niko, what are your thoughts?

I've set this as a loop_mlp blocker for now...
