For example I am not able to use a java web-chat or to see a java newsticker on
the web. The Java environment is not correctly installed. It would be nice if in
future there is a feature so Mozilla correctly installes plugins (would be nice
if this was made eazyer) - best would be if there was an assistant delivered
with mozilla that searches all my directories for plugins and installes them
after asking me if it should.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start mozilla
2.open a page containing java applets
3.
Actual Results: I was asked to install java - and i downloaded it and installed
Expected Results: It should have had installed java and should start the java
applets

Changing summary to something shorter.
Former summary:
"when I open a web-page containing java I am asked to download the plugin. After
downloading and installing I still do not find java installed (I have rebooted
by system, started mozilla a few times, ...)"
Summary: when I open a web-page containing java I am asked to download the plugin. After downloading and installing I still do not find java installed (I have rebooted by system, started mozilla a few times, ...) → java plugin fails to install.
