Please file a new bug if YOU INTEREST.
OMTC on Windows never shipped, so this shouldn't be tracked as a regression.

It's exactly this problem. You probably can't reproduce because either the card/driver is too old and/or because you don't have KB2670838 (Platform update for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1) installed. Does this still reproduce on current builds?

Can you re-confirm hits still happens Alice? Everything seems to work fine for me and I haven't seen any other similar reports?
It only happens in Firefox31 with OMTC=ON, not happen in Aurora32.0a2 and later. And OMTC is disabled by default in Firefox31 and Aurora32.0a2. So, this can be closed as works for me.

Thanks! In 34 and Aurora33 OMTC is enabled though, does it also not happen there?

This does not 'works for me'. It is still broken. Check this site: http://nnattawat.github.io/flip/ Click the first example and see how black boxes appear during animation.

> Please file a new bug. Why? This bug description matches my problem exactly. What info are you missing?
I tried to run Firefox in 'Safe mode' and that seems to fix it?? If you give me instructions on how to produce it, I would be happy to attach a list of extensions / add-ons I have installed.
First try to reproduce the error in a second, new profile[2]. If you still have the problem, open a new bug with the infos of about:support[1] ("Copy text to clipboard") and URLs of websites which show this behavior. [1] https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles [2] https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-troubleshooting-information-page-fix-firefox
We don't need to open a new bug, there is good information in this one, there was never a patch, there is nothing that would cause confusion if we just use the same bug. Stijn, if you can reproduce on a clean profile, please attach your graphics section of about:support, and let us know if you are running release (Firefox 39) or another version.

Ok I will try your suggestions and let you know how it worked out. Thanks for reopening!
BTW, 'about:addons' shows just one add-on being disabled in Safe Mode, `Adobe Acrobat - Create PDF 2.0`.
Sorry for being stubborn but the whole creating new profile procedure seemed a bit overkill. Instead I decided to use the 'Refresh Firefox' feature, which worked like a charm. I can now no longer reproduce the issue. I'm sorta relieved by that.... :) I'm not sure how to proceed now though. :)

Thanks, we can probably close it then. If you find that changing any of the preferences or enabling any add-ons in the future causes this problem to come back, let us know, and we can try and figure out the difference between the two settings.
