How the bug occurs: Printing a www page with images in grayscale is usually done by choosing File, Print, Print properties and entering the Print job properties in the dialog delivered by the Printer driver. Selecting grayscale printing has no effect when printing with Mozilla 0.98 (it is still printing with full color). This bug occured with a HP Deskjet 815C on different pages. Comment: It seems the printer driver setup is not recognized (similar problem like in bug #122798, which is a problem with page orientation, also printer driver related).

The print preferences problem seems to occur in gkgfxwin.dll (on Win32 platforms), where API calls in comdlg32.dll and winspool.dll are done.

Bug #131787 was removed in mozilla-win32-0.9.9 Doing some printing on the website where the bug was found first showed no problems; printing in grayscale worked fine!
