When you use the new XP or Win2K native print dialog (not turned on quite yet)
and you have changed the page orientation in our Page Setup dialog, it is not
reflected correctly in the property sheet.

This is a bug in Window's PrintDlgEx call. The PrintDlg call works fine. I'll
leave this open to catch dups even though there isn't anything I can do about it.

IE has the same issue.

I don't know if this is the right bug, since I don't really get what the native
print dialog of Win2K or XP is which seems to be turned off anyway. But...

I have problems since the 0.9.8 milestone release, that my Win2K machine uses
printer settings, that I can't influence. Somehow Mozilla has taken a snapshot
of my printer settings when I was telling the printer driver to print 2 pages on
on sheet (HP6p). All other programs don't use this setting and the windows
printer panel is also set back to regular one page per sheet settings.
Is this somehow related to this bug or do you have any ideas where this comes from.
Thanks, Michael
Never mind, I just found bug 123554. Will be testing when 0.9.9 comes out. Michael
Found another bug related to print preferences, which discusses problems with
grayscale printing.
The bug has been reported as bug #131787
Ian, would you think this is still a problem?

This 22-year-old bug is about a feature (the Page Setup dialog) that doesn't exist anymore -- we removed the old Page Setup and Print Preview UI a few years back, replacing them with the tab-modal print dialog.

Let's close this out. Any bugs that happen to sound like this one at this point are almost certainly unrelated and not worth lumping together with this one.
