Select a menue from site menue bar.
Selecting a sub-menue will pop up that sub-menue at some 
  disconnected position about the screen. 
Obviously the mouse can't get to sub-menues before they drop.

I don't know anything beyond simple HTML, so I can't explain why this is
happening. But a reply in the Browser NG says it is the use of 'hier-menu' function.

Yeah, this looks FIXED, but there are still some outstanding issues with menus on certain pages in certain browsers. I'm going to file a new bug on that, however.
