del key does not delete message when in message pane. I have to hit f6 three
times for each message if I want to view it and then delete it. I can't just
leave the focus in the message pane and use f, b, and del.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.select mail message
2.switch to message pane
3.hit del

Actual Results:  
nothing happens when you perform the steps above.

Expected Results:  
mozilla should have deleted the message

Garett Shulman: When you say "switch to message pane" how do you do that?  Using 
a mouse-click, Ctrl-Tab or F6, or just Tab?  If you simply use tab to get to the 
message pane, then you're right, the Del key doesn't work -- this is a known 
issue and described in bug 122854 comment 8.

Another bug about the failure of the Del key is bug 57950.
