247607 - http-index-format -> html conversion should be moved out of the channels

Description

instead, the channels should always produce http-index cotnent for directories,
and the consumer should apply a streamconverter if interested.

I'm sure there was a reason for doing it that way. Maybe it was the ftp://
bookmark folders? Although I thnk those got removed a while back
