70744 - cannot select more than one item at a time

Description

using win32 installer mtrunk build 2001030205 (respin?).

alpha) open edit -> preferences
beta) select navigator -> languages
gamma) click on "add..."
delta) click on a language to select it
epsilon) use the shift or control keys or whatever you use on your keyboard for
select another/select between to select 1+ other languages

expected result) you select more than one other language
actual result) you don't - ha ha, sucker


i think this may be more of a widget issue rather than a languages issue, though
multiple selection seems to work fine in the main browser window.

boy, was i right.  same thing happens in any list - such as bookmarks, history,
sidebar panels in customize sidebar, etc.

shifting to xp toolkit and upping to major severity.  sorry for the mistake,
hope reassigning won't be hard.

if you think this particular bug is *not* a duplicate, please provide a
compelling reason, as well as check a recent *trunk* build (on the appropriate
platform[s]), before reopening.
