In table cells with specified width, IE will split text runs with inline images between the images, generally ending a line with an image, whereas Mozilla splits the lines before the image, generally starting the new line with an image. This is a spin off from bug 97619 - see testcase at: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=48045&action=view

I'm pretty sure this is not important enough to fix, but I just wanted to record the issue.

->Tables; don't we have a better way to document these things than leaving Bugzilla bugs to rot?

Not really, especially if there is nobody who wants to work on this. Maybee when the table bug count drops below 50 one would consider it. I dont think its a bug at all, but if nscp thinks they would like to have it and give the resources (aka I want karnaze back) then they might think its necessary to fix it.

This bug may be unimportant by and large, however somebody made it a blocker for bug 172819 which I don't regard as insignificant. Maybe one should remove this dependency.

The following website displays very differently in Mozilla than in IE. The right hand side is missing an input form: http://www.maricopa.gov/Assessor/GIS/javamap.htm. I use this site all the time and it prevents me from using Firefox as my main browser at work.

Input form is missing from Mozilla but shows up in ie
jrundlexx: This bug is about a specific rendering difference inside of <table> elements. Your attached testcase has no <table> elements, so it's clearly not related to this bug. (Well, it has one single-cell <table> wrapping the "Java Viewer Notes" link for no apparent reason, but that's trivial and doesn't contain the element that you say is missing.)
This is not a catch-all bug for "this site renders differently in IE vs Firefox." (nor can it be) Please file a separate bug for your issue.
