With bug reaching 7 digit it will be a bit hard for typing, speaking, etc. I suggest we make a Bugzilla shortcut that turns
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1m123
to
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1000123
If it's not possible for BMO at least we should do it on bugzil.la.
What do you think?

Summary: Alias all bug # > 100000; do something like 1000123 -> 1m123 → Alias all bug # > 1000000; do something like 1000123 -> 1m123

If you want to do this, please dropping the leading 1, else you won't have an advantage from this when hitting bug 1010000. During working days, usually >500 bugs are filed, so this would take less than a month. But maybe we only have to get used to bug numbers with seven digits.

1m123 is a valid bug alias, so this is not a realistic workaround. And as said in comment 2, this workaround won't be very useful once you reach something like bug 1010000. Suggesting WONTFIX.
What would be useful, though, is to be able to display bug IDs as bug 1,000,000 to make it more readable and parsable by users (but this is language specific as in french we would write bug 1'000'000).
this isn't worth the effort or confusion to save a single keypress.
