spin off from Bug 679025

looks like it works fine for me in fennec (using beta 29).

not so good when trying to view portfolios on firefoxOS (using flame 28.0
2014-04-13)

text is very small font and columns are extremely wide. If it showed like the desktop site, or fennec on andriod it would be a lot more useful.
Moving this over to the mobile component.

So this bug is the counterpart of

* Bug 754750 - Google Finance - Suboptimal site, not optimized site renders on Fennec Native Due to UA sniffing on Firefox Android

Just seen C#26 on Bug 679025. Adding a seeAlso.

Rendering on Firefox OS 1.4 on a ZTE Open Device.
Summary: google.com/finance shows hard to read layout for portolios and other in firefox OS → google.com/finance sends simplified mobile content to firefox OS
fwiw, for the same URI iOS 6_1_6 Safari 8536.25 receives the desktop site and not any mobile content.
http://www.google.com/finance?q=NASDAQ:GOOG

When asking **manually** for the mobile site by entering
http://www.google.com/m/finance#search/NASDAQ%3AGOOG
iOS 6_1_6 Safari 8536.25 receives a working mobile content.
Is any browser sent automatically to mobile content here? I don't see it in Fennec either, though per this bug it seems as Fennec was sent to the mobile site at the time..

If no browsers are redirected let's close this.
I get the desktop site for both Android stock and Chrome Mobile now. Going to close--hope that doesn't hurt your feelings, Karl.

Confirmed.
No hard feelings, but we can open a separate bug for http://google.com/m/finance
which is working on iOS, UCBrowser, etc.
but not working on Firefox OS (No results found for null) and Firefox Android (Failed to load the market index)
