We need to circle up and decide on a strategy for collaboration.
Whiteboard: [allhands][newcommunities] [training]
need to add "what do we teach" layer (web skills, webmaker tools, git / python / bash, etc).

Educational map has been moved to a separate bug. This (to me) is more SWC bootcamp / instructor training + Teach the Web in-person training sort of thing (which hasn't been ironed out). Also, looping in Greg.

What would you say about Open Science being the first "org" to fork the courseware platform? We built it the way we did to get people remixing open learning courses and structures, maybe remixing the whole thing for online science course is an interesting trial for collaboration? Adding in Bill too. Contextual post: http://www.zythepsary.com/techie/webmaker-an-open-educational-ecosystem-oee/ Would love to play with this idea.
I have a strong feeling that this is an awesome idea that I would like to do, but I'm just a bit vague on what I'm forking - the 'Training Platform' link in the contextual post 404's out on me, and I'm not otherwise familiar with this product. I'm definitely going to be producing a bunch of teaching kits ala Webmaker almost immediately, and if this platform makes a nice place for these to live and be discoverable / remixable from, then I am beyond on board - just need to understand better the exact concrete thing I'm working with. Let me know!
Closing this bug as part of the Deprecation of the Webmaker Product on Bugzilla. If this issue needs to re resolved in another manner, re-file it in a new Product or find the associated project on Github (http://github.com/mozilla) and file an issue there. see bug 1347718
