For each: Mozilla, Firefox, Webmaker, and Hive (Facebook/Twitter)

Create copy/placeholders for:
 * May 12 training launch
 * June TBD /Explore launch
 * June 18 White House Maker Faire
 * July 15 Campaign Launch
 * July 15 - September 15 - Campaign
 * September - World Tour/Celebration

To update on this, I am currently doing 3 things:

1. Scheduling in each "event" into the actual calendar spreadsheet for @mozilla and the Mozilla Facebook (at least as far as we have dates planned out). (spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApySWCfBvo5jdGRMXzZGOUFWSFd3RHdSQ2tObUk2QWc&usp=drive_web#gid=24)

2. Coming up with sample tweets for each event to share with MoFo staff so that they can help spread the word to their networks (3-4 for each event).

3. Talking to Michaela Thayer (who runs social media for Firefox) about what they have the bandwidth to contribute for each of these events. I can bring this up tomorrow when I hopefully meet with that team.


So for #s 1 and 2, I'll start working on that now and will hopefully have something for you early next week. #3 is TBD pending my convo with Michaela. Woo!

@Lainie and @Amira—when you guys have a free moment (!), could you please update this bug with something similar to Sydney's list, even if it's just linking to docs/etherpads elsewhere? I just want this bug to serve as the canonical home of the social media plan for MP.

Lucy is going to provide tweets to send Hive and to put on Webmaker Twitter for:

-MP Save the Date
-MP Partner Registration
-MP Launch
-MP events, makes, details, blogs during campaign timeframe 
-MP post success 

Also Lucy and I discussed today that she will work with Sydney to provide similar info (which she will share in the weekly editorial meetings) and start creating a few Mozilla FB posts for MP.

TL;DR: The wheels are in motion on coordination with MoCo & metrics analysis. Emails are being sent connecting the right people to one another.

To give a further update on this, Michaela from MoCo has agreed to give us some love on FF social for Maker Party. They've also offered to get their creative department to create a graphic to use with the Facebook post, which in my experience always increases the amount of engagement & reach with our posts. Connected Amira and Lucy with Michaela and Winston, who can coordinate together since I'm transitioning out. We're still unsure as to the bandwidth/volume of posts that MoCo can provide, but assume that will be hashed out between Michaela and Amira/Lucy.

Adam is also working with myself and Michaela to pull metrics on last year's Maker Party campaign on social so that we're not heading in blind.
