WIFI is going to have a webapi for providing WIFI capabilities of device to Gaia, bug 1002314. Settings app should be able to get capabilities of a device through this webapi to display menu of security methods.

Since Bug 973466 is on working for refactor wifi panel, we have to add the feature here after Bug 973466 landed. Otherwise, there will be a lot of conflicts for merging process.

Howie - If this is truly blocking bug 1019146, then this is a blocker to shipping WAP-EAP. bug 1019146 is too easy of a bug to reproduce to allow the feature to be shipped.

We either need to pref off or we need to get this fixed.

That should be WPA-EAP above, not WAP-EAP.

Hi Jason, this bug is for settings app and does not block bug 1019146 - which is a FTE issue. If bug 1019146 want to be fixed, FTE can call capabilities API to display options correctly. FTE is not maintained in settings app so solving this bug doesn't help bug 1019146 at all, thank you!
