Attached file firefox_sass.zip
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140421221237

Steps to reproduce:

- Open the index.html file from the zip file attached.
- Open the web developper tools "Style editor" (Tools > Web developer > Style editor)
- If needed right click on a file on the left and select "Show CSS sources"
- Select _failing.sass, the editor on right is empty but the file had one css rule.

I've also uploaded the directory from the zip file for easier bug reproduction:
http://www.idflood.com/files/firefox_sass/

tested on version 29 and nightly 32.0a1 (osx).

Actual results:

The style editor is empty but the file has one css rule.

Expected results:

The file content should be displayed in the editor, like when clicking on _working.scss.

UA: "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0"

I can confirm that this is still an issue. Live editing/viewing works with .scss files, but not .sass. I don't see how or why one syntax would be supported and not the other.
"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0"

Same problem here.
From what it seems for me, this bug has been cleared up in at least yesterday's Nightly (36.0a1 2014-10-30) on OS X and Debian Linux. If it can be confirmed, this bug could be closed.
I quickly tried to reproduce this with the latest Nightly on OS X and it is working fine now.

Thanks so much for the report and testcase. I'm sorry I didn't see this before. Looks like Sass syntax was bitten by bug 1077376 as well, so this should be fixed in Firefox 34+ (in Beta currently).
