Summary: Bank is blockin N6/Mozilla. → handelsbanken.se : Bank is blocking N6/Mozilla.
Handelsbanken seems to have made changes to its top-level URL. They have removed some bizarre non-HTML tags, but they haven't done anything to let more browsers into their site. Nowadays, they don't show any content at all when viewed with Mozilla and other non-recognized browsers. Analysis: They use server-side user-agent sniffing, and if they recognize a supported browser, they will insert the line "<script>location='/shb/INeT/ICentSv.nsf/vLookUpFirstPage/Central'</script>" into the HTML. Other browsers don't get this line, and they end up with a page without any displayable content. It is possible to browse parts of the site by entering via http://www.handelsbanken.se/shb/INeT/ICentSv.nsf/vLookUpFirstPage/Central but you will soon be caught by more sniffing. It seems that their site is quite basic, and I don't think they use much DHTML, so I can't understand why they worry so much about unknown browsers. BTW, the OS field should be set to "All".

I’ve just ask Handelsbanken about why they don't support N6(again). There answer is that because it's a open source product they think it's unsafe! Argh... There support e-mail address is: internetsupport.privat@handelsbanken.se
I think you should let Netscape support people handle banks. From our experiences, what most banks look for when they have a problem is consistently available support from software vendors. Only a company can provide such promises. Not an individual Mozilla contribuotr.
Katsuhiko Momoi, that would of course be the ideal situation, but as I'm sure you know you have a lot of bugs to handle, and people are eager to get into their bank with Mozilla. As time permints, I will now do my best to evangelize Handelsbanken.
I was in contact with a person from their support staff today, and they are sadly under the impression that open source means unsecure. I of course tried my best to evangelize him on this, and next I will be contacted by the person in charge of their internet banking.
Same problem with http://www.handelsbanken.no/ - looks like the same page as the swedish one.
*** Bug 151234 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Tell the people in charge of that bank to check with Charter One Bank in Ohio, USA. I have used Phoenix 0.4 to access my account there with no problems.

I don't see any problems with handelsbanken.se and handelsbanken.no. I managed to get to an English language page at handelsbanken.se which says Netscape and Mozilla are now supported. http://www.handelsbanken.se/shb/INeT/IStartSv.nsf/FrameSet?OpenView&amp;iddef=Installation_En&amp;navid=Installation_En&amp;sa=/Shb/Inet/ICentSv.nsf/Default/qD9DA9F95C2CBC25CC1256DAB003F23F3 I am resolving this as fixed, please reopen if any problems shall appear, though.
