Requesting review, w/ promise that I won't land this until I've verified (on Try) that all warnings in this directory are really gone.

(I believe bug 1012860 and bug 1012814 are the only warnings here, and I've got patches up to fix those, and a Try run with those patches plus this one. I'll file additional bugs if that uncovers any more (and make them block this one).)
