Have you done a system restore?
Do you have more than one install of Firefox?
Summary: Two versions of Firefox → Platform version error displayed after updating
No, I haven't tried that because for some reason when I try to do that, it fails.
No, when that first happened I checked the list of programs in my computer and it showed me only the version 29.0.1. I uninstalled it and tried to install it again, but when I wanted to run the program the same error window appeared.
Hi Katina, do you have any system protection software installed? For example, bug 626528 comment 1.
In addition, you can try to reinstall Firefox, I guess the probably be able to fix this problem.

No, actually I have no idea if such software is in my computer, I haven't been able to format it since I bought it and that was about a year and some months ago.
I have already tried to reinstall, the same error keeps popping out.
