drained blade, now running memtest.

host passed memtest after i let it run overnight with 0 errors (5 passes). i ran it again for another 2 passes with 0 errors. reimaged host. please let me know if issues persist.

since memtest only tests the system memory and not video memory, can video memory issues cause the PPoD?

Pretty much everyone who has thought about this has asked that question, and given hardware-accelerated graphics it certainly seems likely that flaky video memory would result in flipping a bit in the redering; as far as I know we still haven't asked the question of someone who knows how we can run diagnostics on video memory to tell for sure.

thanks for the info. if issues persist, the next logical step would be to swap out the video card if it passes all available diagnostics.
