Refreshing of a page causes new entry in the 'back' list (dropdown from 'back' button)

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010913
BuildID: 2001091303
Auto refreshes cause entries to be added to the 'back' list from the 'back'
button. Leaving the browser pointing at an auto refresh page results in a back
list that's unusable.
Also, in many frames, pressing back does not actually go to the last entry in
the back list. The page remains on the current entry.
Actively selecting an entry from the back list in a frame enable page leaves the
page displaying current content, but displays that it has correctly serviced the
request to move back through the 'back list'.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to page with auto refresh
2.Leave for one day (I use Mozilla for monitoring a network via browser)
3.Check back list.
Actual Results: The list attached to the back button of previous sites displays
a long list of the same page.
Expected Results: Should have one entry to say that you're looking at the URL
