Steps to reproduce:

* Download Nightly via the ubuntu-mozilla-daily ppa (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mozilla-daily/+archive/ppa):
    * In terminal:
        * `sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa`
        * `sudo apt-get update`
        * `sudo apt-get install firefox-trunk`

* Once downloaded, run `firefox-trunk` from terminal or select Nightly Web Browser from menu.
    * Go to `Help->Submit Feedback...`


Actual results:

* Page loaded was: https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/feedback/firefox-trunk/32.0a1/
* Looked like http://i.imgur.com/DpR6rzR.png - attached same screenshot.
* With text "Input doesn't know about 'firefox-trunk'. If you think this is an error, please let us know by writing up a bug."


Expected results:

A lovely feedback page =)

Mmm... "firefox-trunk" sounds like a nightly channel, but it's not the name of a product. I contend they should fix the PPA.

Trunk often means the unstable code branch in a repository =)

Contacted the admins via their Launchpad form but haven't heard back yet.

Hadn't heard back yet so dug a bit deeper and made a bug report on Launchpad instead - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1344062

:willkg - You mentioned in bug 1030946 that "trunk" would work but I got the same error when I tried https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/feedback/trunk/32.0a1/ - did I use the wrong url?

I said "The product is "firefox". The channel could be set to "trunk"--that'd work."

You're missing the product name in the url you tried and the version is in the wrong place. It should be something like this:

https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/feedback/firefox/32.0a1/trunk/

Just an update that the current Firefox Nightly in the ppa gives the url "https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/feedback/firefox/36.0a1/" which loads a feedback page.

Apologies however as I sent input that just said "Test" to doublecheck =P
