* Description:
  This is a regression bug.
  After uninstalling a third party keyboard then install it again, you will see the old settings are kept.

* Reproduction steps:
  1. Check/select a third party on keyboard settings page
  2. Uninstall selected third party keyboard
  3. Reinstall the same third party keyboard again
  4. Checking the settings of installed keyboard

* Expected result:
  The keyboard settings is reset

* Actual result:
  The old settings are kept

My bad. Changed the permission.
I were using Thai keyboard which I downloaded from marketplace.

By the way, Luke has ever fixed similar issue (Bug 912416)

Just saw the video and realized this is a rather long STR ...:)

I don't think this bug alone is not serious enough, but if some how after step 2 the user is being able to select the layout from the uninstalled keyboard (maybe from the global button) than we are in trouble.

Will try that later.

I can verify the following STR works as expected:

  1. Check/select a third party on keyboard settings page
  2. Uninstall selected third party keyboard
  3. Go to Contact app
  4. Try to switch between keyboards

Expected:

  * Not seeing keyboard uninstalled.

I also don't think we can call this a regression, since 2.0 is the first release we are shipping third party keyboard support.
