Actual results: without a mouse pointer hovering over the position of the resizebutton, it's not dispalyed on LINUX. On WINDOWS it is. There is a decrepancy between Linux and Windows. I wonder whether the theme is involved. Are you able to tell us the GTK2 theme in use, please?

Oh sorry, i forgot to mention, that i use "Classic Theme Restorer" to get rid of the last layout changes. I copied my configuration from Windows XP to Fedora, with all addons configured and it that problem did not happen on XP. I'm pretty sure, it's linux only. btw.. in this textarea, here on the bugzilla window, the dotted triangluar resize button is present like it should be... it does not change in anyway, if i hover it with the mouse, like it happend on the other was i reported this issue. Did something change inbetween ? Just for the record: That layout change was unnecessary, unwanted and is unloved. I like the themeability of firefox and thunderbird, but that should be completly in user hands. I have to work with firefox, i don't need changes to the gui or functionality where i have to rework myself into. Took me 1 hour to reverse the worst changes back to something useable again. If the theme designers want to make a new one, let them, but have it optional as a usertheme. Give them all tools to be able to completly reconfigure and rebuild the guisystem, but don't make it mandatory. Firefox is too important for the world to break it that way. And BTW, The Windows 7 Gui layout, that firefox tried to inhabit, it's one of the ugliest i know of. Copy good stuff if you have to, but not bad ones like Win7 :)
