There is no blinking cursor for next contact to be added after you select a contact from contacts list. It's not convenient for people to add the second recipient from keypad.

2. Tap pencil in upper right of screen 
3. Tap (+) in upper right of screen 
4. Select a contact from contacts list

4. There should be blinking cursor for next contact to be added
