UX - Is this intentional or a bug?
Flags: needinfo?(firefoxos-ux-bugzilla)
Flagging Peter, but it sounds like a bug.
Flags: needinfo?(firefoxos-ux-bugzilla) → needinfo?(pla)
This is an intentional feature that's buggy. The lockscreen is supposed to sample an appropriate colour from the currently active wallpaper and use it as a semi-transparent underlay for notifications, but we've had issues with it. This bug appears to not be sampling from the current wallpaper (perhaps it's using a sample from a previous wallpaper). It's related to this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1023329 In fact, it may be a dup. I'm going to make this bug blog the lockscreen metabug for now, until we've figured out whether it's a dup.

blog = block. :)
Peter - Is this a blocker for 2.0 Visual Refresh from your perspective (i.e. does this need a 2.0? nom)?
Flags: needinfo?(pla)
Hi Jason. Yes, I think it's a blocker, but I talked to Amy Lee and we both think this is probably a dup of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1023329, which is already a blocker. If John Lu can perhaps investigate this one along with that other bug, it would help confirm whether it's a dup.

I think you are right, so I'll dupe it.
