this service requires user to have a Firefox Account. As an initial scope, the following user data are candidates for B&R 1. Contacts - Created by the user on the device (does not include federated contacts such as contacts from gmail, FaceBook etc as they are already backedup by their respective services) 2. Settings 3. Media (Images/Video/Audio...) created on the device (does not include media imported from other services such as flickr as they are already backed up by their respective services )

Hi, I'm currently working on a contact B&R solution for FFOS. It is capable of saving contacts,as a JSON string, in a Dropbox account and restoring them as well. My app is in a very early state but maybe you want to take a look at it. https://github.com/Hannor/FirefoxOS-Contact-Backup-Dropbox
feature-b2g: --- → 2.2
Depends on: 1056991
Use feature-b2g:2.2? rather than just 2.2.
feature-b2g: 2.2 → 2.2?
Flags: in-moztrap?(mozillamarcia.knous) → in-moztrap+
Can someone please create a separate component for this product/project?
No one is working on it. - it.
feature-b2g: 2.2? → ---
The contacts app can import/export from the SD card and works well. Doesn't do it for all profile data though. I'd love to see WebIDE or something similar act like iTunes for Firefox OS; letting the user back up and restore all info.
¡Hola! As I was bitten by https://github.com/Mozilla-TWQA/B2G-flash-tool#backup_restore_profilepy not doing anything once in the past, I'm very interested on getting this off of the ground...
