Details
When autocomplete is enabled but the drop-down box is not (so the autocomplete
happens in place), it is difficult to select a complete URL in the URL bar. The
selection instantly disappears.
It is possible to select a portion of the URL, and it is also possible to select
the whole URL if the cursor is at the left side of the selection (such as if it
were selected by dragging starting from the left side of the URL). If the cursor
is on the right, though, whether due to the URL being double-clicked or the
selection being started there, the selection quickly goes away and the cursor
remains on the right.

This happens to me whenever autocomplete is enabled, either the drop-down menu
or the inline completion. Very annoying.
I confirm.
