User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140605174243
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Firefox
2) Go to a webpage containing a mailto:// link
3) write the email and click Send
Reproducible: 10/10
It does not matter which fields to:/cc:/subject are prepopulated by the mailto link, it also does not make a difference if any of those fields get changed when editing the email. The issue for me is reproducible 10/10 independently from the mailto link itself and the webpage where this belongs.
Other email created by pressing the "Write" button to compose them from Thunderbird get correctly saved to the "Sent Items" folder.
I am experiencing this on:
Thunderbird 24.6.0 on Mac OS X 10.9 (see attached troubleshooting info)
however I certainly experienced it also on earlier versions of Thunderbird running on windows 7
Actual results:
The email gets sent but no copy can be found in the "Sent Items" folder
Expected results:
A copy of the sent email should be found in the "Sent Items" folder
