I suggest that we start with top-down view of customization. There is customization of profiles, installers, modules, skins, etc. In fact, I'm certain I could not even name half the forms of customization the mozilla code base allows...

You're right Ben. Technically EVERYTHING could be customized since the source is available. This bug needs to be more clearly defined. Putting a WAG ETA on this per requirements.

V/invalid. I still think there should be a top level document, that explains the types of customizations people often try to apply, but I'm going to close this, for now. It looks like a new group of people is taking on docs, lets give them a fresh start.
