Reporter: Which build are you using (Please include in all bug reports the build ID). And can you give us a talkback ID ? Use a talkback enabled build. After Talkback submitted the crash run: <Install-Dir>\mozilla\components\talkback.exe

What build am I using: Mozilla 0.9.3 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 I believe my home machine has 0.9.4, I'm not sure. -Duane.
Reproduced on 2001072622 WinXP. Selected the city of Alexandria, busy-mouse cursor appeared for ~5 seconds, then Mozilla crashed and talkback came up. Talkback report TB36472132M

Marking WFM 2001100803 on Win2k. Reporter: Please try a more recent build: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-talkback.zip (as always, be sure to delete your old Mozilla directory before installing the new one) Then, if you get a crash, please reopen this bug and post the Talkback ID here.

Alex "Rembrandt" Bischoff> Reporter: Please try a more recent build: Ok - downloaded the exact one you said. Problem is *NOT* gone. Problem has *CHANGED*, it is *BETTER*, now No Crash :-> However - Selecting an item from the list now causes Mozilla to do something... then redraw the screen and the selection I have made is now GONE. See comment: rods@netscape.com 2001-10-08 09:06 And comment: Terri Preston 2001-10-08 10:31 Based on commet by Terri, I believe Terri has same problem that I now have, and same problem that I have on my home machine. FYI: Mozilla reports: Mozilla 0.9.5+ Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.5+) Gecko/20011010 -- Duane. FYI - You gave a ZIP as the download path. Took a bit to figure out where to placet his. The ZIP contains a root "/bin" path. This needed to change to "/Mozilla" after I copied it to correct location.

Note this little snippet of code: if (navigator.appName == "Netscape" && parseInt(navigator.appVersion) >= 3) { history.go(0); // setMonths(); } Mozilla will reload the page automatically. This code was put in for the Netscape 4.x generation of browsers, to combat a known bug in that platform. This is an evangelism issue, the page is not correctly detecting the browser platform. (The new Option() statements should also be frowned upon, in favor of the DOM.)

The site has changed; the listed URL now redirects to http://www.ponl.com/topic/home_page/language_en/products_and_services/ecommerce/schedules which does not have a city select box. Instead it has a broken HierMenu. Error: isLoaded is not defined Source File: http://www.ponl.com/std/home_page_3.js Line: 478
