I started noticing this in the 2001-10-09 build.. ever since I started to use that (using 2001-10-10 now) the "unread" state of my news messages keeps reverting back to the same state. It's simpler than it sounds: - I go read netscape.public.mozilla.mail-news, and read a few messages - go read some mail - return to netscape.public.mozilla.mail-news, and all the messages that I just read are now unread again.
