104208 - read messages keep returning as unread

Unread news messages marked read don't stay read - the status reverts to unread
unless mail-news is closed immediately after marking read.

1. Start mail-news
2. Go to a ng with unread messages.  Right-click on the ng name and Mark NG Read.
3. Go to another ng with unread messages.  Mark NG Read.
4. Return to the first ng.  The messages are all marked unread again.
5. Mark NG Read again, then close the mail-news component.
6. Start mail-news.  The ng in #5 now remains marked read, and the ng in #3 is
once again unread.

Looks like maybe the .msf file isn't being updated correctly when switching
between ngs, and only the last one accessed is updated correctly when mail-news
is closed.  Closing mail-news after marking a ng read keeps the read status
updated correctly.  Yuk.
