This is a follow up to bug 100143 (Password Manager pops up before you know you
entered the right password, wontfix). The gist is, it's too easy to enter the
wrong password, have it saved, and have to go to preferences to remove it.
This RFE is for a delete/remove button in the little dialog that comes up when
you go to a site with more than one password saved. This would be
uber-convenient and would save a lot of trips to preferences. I also believe
that this would make password manager more friendly as a whole, as Joe User
would practically never have to dig into preferences to work with his saved
passwords again. (and all with one button!)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.log into a site with several different username/passwords, saving them with
the manager
2.go to the site again
Actual Results: a dialog pops up with with several saved usernames/passwords
Expected Results: it would be nice if I could delete a bad or unused username
right there on the spot.

Yes! I'm using Phoenix 0.5 which doesn't seem to have any password manager at
all (though it does remember them). Now, I'm stuck with multiple (wrong!) pw's
remembered and I can't figure out how to clear them. It sounds like this
enhancement request would fix this.
Reassigning to new module owner.

I guess Firebird .6 has this support now, but it's so damned annoying to have to
go into the options for something that can be done so quickly with one delete
key. It should would be nice since I've gotten used to this functionality with
Micro$oft IE.
Please say that's there's some kind of movement on this RFE, thanks.

By the release of FF3, which replaces the dialogue by a question pane, this bug has come invalid.
Please close it.

this is a SeaMonkey bug and has little to do with Fx releases

By now SM has adopted the same method (including form fill and the ability to press Del when a user is selected in the drop-down) so I suggest WONTFIX. KaiRo?

Actually, it was fixed at some time, when I see this correctly, so I think WFM is better.
