This is for linux 2.2.19/i386 and Mozilla 0.9.5 As soon as any link from the CNN site is followed, the history is seemingly deleted and the back button is disabled from now on (even when browsing to other sites). Looks like it is depending on Javascript. If JS is disabled, the bug does not occur. Disabling JS after the bug occured does not restore the back button, however. This may or may not be a duplicate of Bug #88684. Chose severity "major" only because CNN is affected.
