User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140716183446 Steps to reproduce: Since upgrading to TB-31, the following feature of the composition window has degraded: - open composition window - start typing a known email address (exists in address book, mine or collected) - press enter (or tab) before completing the entire address Actual results: TB-31 has added a fade effect in the composition window fields: To, Cc, Subject. Actual result is : most often incomplete text of email address remains in field. Autocomplete will kick in but only with a delay, about 1 sec. This is unacceptable. Expected results: Expected result, behaviour of TB prior to version 31: autocomplete the first email address that matches this text, instantly, on press of enter/tab. otherwise, show autocomplete options immediately. If one whishes autocompletion, now one must wait for the autocomplete function to kick in to take advantage of it. The delay is not long, about 1 sec, but for someone with some dexterity and reliance on the autocomplete to do it's job promptly, this new behaviour is frustrating and disrupting and a loss in efficiency.
