In the first run experience in recent flatfish builds, selecting a timezone in the 'Date & Time' page doesn't update the displayed timezone or the map. However, if I try to set it again, or continue the timezone is set correctly in the settings, so it's being set, but the page isn't updated to display the new value.
Maybe a duplicate of bug 1049790?
Sounds like the same issue.
