emailStripper is supposed to strip extra newlines and >'s from forwarded messages, sounds like a great feature to have for moz mail 1.1 :)

Outlook also does this nicely, removing additional line breaks (but giving you an info bar ala firefox/ie popup blocker to reverse it). Useful for example when the length of the line is longer than the width of the message pane (for example in 3 column mode). The present behaviour leads to the following type of effect: Once my computer is back in action and I can use Windows again in English and in a setup I know works, I'll take another look
Comment 4: Edit | Rewrap I think this should be wontfixed, as getting replies without > is extremely annoying.
