1054623 - Sync displays tabs from on top of normal tab list

I logged in to sync.

I tapped "back to browsing", then immediately opened the tab list.

I see:

I had recently removed my Sync account from Android settings, and I don't think I restarted Firefox before coming back and signing it again (attempting to reproduce a different bug). Maybe this is the synched data from earlier hanging around, or... something?

Also, from the state pictured, tapping the "tabs from other devices" tab and then returning to the normal tab list causes the correct state to be resumed.

That looks like a bug fixed from last month ..... you are on a more recent build, right?

Gotta love regressions!

Do you have the bug number for the last time this happened, Aaron? If it was fixed before it might be a simple matter of some hg-fu to figure out where we un-fixed it and make sure it doesn't happen again.

It should remind you of it. The same patches landed (bug 1016613) again and need to be backed out, again.

I've reverted bug 1016613, so this will be fixed in the next nightly due to be scheduled in ~3hrs (3am PT), which will be complete in ~4-5 hrs from now.
