Details

As per the Github issue 899, the clipboard API needs to be modified so that only user generated events can be used to "set" the contents of the clipboard. [1]

There is also a Clipboard class with more functionality which will need to be implemented at a later time. Clipboard.getData() will be of interest when Clipboard is implemented. [2]
