Details

My MSE testcase at:

http://people.mozilla.org/~cpearce/simple-dash/

Only plays through the first 10 seconds of the media. If you load that page in IE, it gets through all 60s.

This page splits bruce.mp4 up into an init segment, and 7 fragments after that. I'd guess we're only playing the first fragment.
Summary: "simple-dash" test only plays first segment → "simple-dash" MSE/MP4 test only plays first segment
(I tested on Windows in Nightly 34.0a1 (2014-08-25))
After discussing with Eric, it is a 2.1+ blocker. But it doesn't block feature.
No longer blocks: MSE-FxOS
blocking-b2g: --- → 2.1+
Moving this to backlog as MSE is off 2.1 features.
blocking-b2g: 2.1+ → backlog

Depends on: 1076719
This is actually a consequence of the problem in bug 1076719. Applying the patch there will fix this problem.
This particular example is fixed now due to bug 1076719
