Allow the user to zoom the Responsive Design View. This will scale up the Viewport and Its containing Content. Zooming should be equal to webpage scaling. Press Ctrl+"+" to zoom-in (scale up) and Ctrl+"-" to zoom-out (scale down). Maybe this is depending on or extending issue 758011
This feels like it could be handled by bug 758011 depending on how it is implemented / presented as a UI.

Product: Firefox → DevTools

Recently, we fixed a couple issues related to zooming. Now in RDM when you zoom in and out, the content of the viewport is scaled, not the RDM UI (i.e. the RDM toolbar at the top stays at 100%, and the size of the viewport container doesn't change either).

If I understand correctly, the request here is to have a way to both zoom in and scale the viewport container up at the same time.
Changing this to an enhancement.

Chrome has a fit to screen, zoom 100%, 125%, etc. As a front end dev ui/ux this would be amazing to have.

I second kris comment.

If this worked on it would be nice to also have the viewport always be centered by default. Right now it seems to be left aligned to where the menu is.

Are there plans to implement this? I'm testing out switching from chrome to firefox right now but this might be a dealbreaker, it's a royal pain to have to scroll around vertically and horizontally to check all the corners of a device screen. This seems like a pretty obvious setup to me, if anything it should be defaulted to fitting the viewport and this bug should be people wanting to zoom in. Why would anyone want to only be able to scroll around and not see the whole screen at once?
