As per Bug 1047118 and Bug 1045938 : Performance test changes to add a pseudo app-target "boot", which can be invoked to collect boot timing information.
Marionette testing code. Part of its functionality depends on landing Bug 1058810. If the other instrumentation pieces are missing, it would not adversely affect the execution of this script, just the usefulness of its results.

Since the original patch, test changed to no longer depend (or even use) the lower level instrumentation pieces. Now it is only for collecting data in system app and verticalhome.

Triage: wontfix due to upcoming test-perf deprecation. Functionality adapted into Raptor to gather boot metrics.
